Chair
The Assistant Chair functions as the primary administrative and operational
entity in the department. Their responsibility is to support the Chair and

Assistant to the Chair
As the Assistant to the Chair, this position provides clerical
support for the Chair, including: correspondence, scheduling,
calendar, fax, telephone, mail, file maintenance and organization.
Serves as liaison with various administrative offices in the
School and University. Processes payroll for faculty, staff
and students.

Departmental Business and Grants Manager
The Departmental Business and Grants Manager is responsible
for the efficient and accurate financial administration of
the department, departmental grants, and expenditures. All
grant related questions should be directed to the Business
and Grants Manager.

Ruby Nell Carpenter, Departmental Administrative
Assisstant
As the main office receptionist, the Departmental Administrative Assistant
